Louise Hilliar

Chartered Psychologist

Louise is a specialist in neurodiversity. She works with 16-year-olds and over who have conditions such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, autism, and attention deficit disorder (ADHD). Louise has a particular interest in the ways in which these conditions affect people in education, training, and at work.

Since becoming a chartered psychologist, Louise has gained considerable experience in the identification of neurodivergent conditions. She has worked with those seeking employment and with those in employment. Louise has also worked with students in a range of educational settings and has assessed many university students who wish to apply for Disabled Students’ Allowances (DSAs).

Louise pays particular attention to detail when gathering background information about a client. She produces clear and thorough reports which enable clients, and those supporting them, to understand their strengths and weaknesses. The recommendations are tailored to the individual and allow reasonable adjustments to be put into place. These include access arrangements for examinations and assessment centres.

Louise is based in the South West of England between Bristol and Bath. Her clients come from BANES, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Wiltshire, and beyond. Referrals are made directly from clients as well as through educational establishments and employers.
